We would like your event to be a complete success. Please familiarize yourself and your event professionals with the following information:
- Six months in advance of your event the remaining Licensee Fee is due. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The University will bill you for this balance due.
- One month in advance of your event, a Certificate of Insurance is due. If the certificate is not received, your event will be canceled. Please click here for Insurance Information >>
- The maximum capacity of Ralston Hall Mansion is 200 guests for a seated event.
- Valet or a Parking Director may be required for your event.
- The eight-hour rental time is comprised of two hours for set-up, five hours of event time with guests and one hour for clean up. Additional hours are available at an extra charge.
- Your event time line, vendor names with contact information, and arrival time, are due six weeks before your event.
- Your event must end with guests departing no later than midnight and premises vacated by your catering staff by 1:00 a.m.
- You must select a caterer from the Ralston Hall Mansion Exclusive Catering List and pay all applicable fees.
- Alcoholic beverages can only be poured and served by your caterer or a licensed, professional bartending service. Ralston Hall Mansion reserves the right to terminate the service of alcoholic beverages if the behavior of guests warrant such action.
- Children must be supervised at all times. Please consider using a professional childcare service.
- Smoking, candles, balloons, and bubbles are not permitted inside Ralston Hall Mansion. Ceremonial candles are allowed if extinguished promptly at the conclusion of your ceremony.
- The throwing of rice, birdseed, and confetti or the use of sparklers is not permitted inside or outside the Mansion.
- The floating of items in the fountain is not permitted.
- The use of nails, tacks, and ANY type of tape or other defacing materials is prohibited.
- All decorations, signs, flowers, food, and gifts must be removed at the end of the event. Nothing may be attached or posted on trees, signs, or other Notre Dame de Namur University property. Failure to remove any of the above may result in additional charges.
- Service of all alcoholic beverages must cease 30 minutes prior to your guest departure time. Non-alcoholic beverages can be served until the end of the event.
